WPC flooring, as a popular indoor and outdoor decorative material, is highly favored due to its durability and moisture resistance. Proper cleaning and maintenance methods are crucial for maintaining its appearance and extending its lifespan. Below, we will provide you with detailed steps and techniques.

Daily cleaning methods for WPC flooring

When cleaning WPC flooring on a daily basis, first use a soft bristled broom or vacuum cleaner to remove surface dust and debris. For ordinary stains, use a slightly damp mop that has been wrung out to wipe, and the water temperature should not be too high. Mild pH neutral cleaning agents can be used to dilute in water, avoiding the use of strong acids, alkalis, or cleaning products containing abrasive particles. After cleaning, it is recommended to open doors and windows for ventilation to accelerate the evaporation of moisture on the floor surface. Do not rinse with a large amount of water or soak for a long time to prevent moisture from seeping into the joints. Regular cleaning can effectively maintain the gloss and service life of the floor.

Techniques for handling stubborn stains and special situations

For oil stains or pigments, immediately wipe them with a soft cloth dipped in neutral detergent to prevent the stains from penetrating. If it has solidified, you can first gently scrape off the surface with a plastic scraper, and then treat it with a special cleaning agent. When encountering adhesive such as chewing gum, you can use ice cubes to freeze and harden before carefully scraping off. If there are slight scratches on the floor surface, repair paste of the same color can be used to fill them. Avoid direct scratching with high heels or sharp objects in daily life, and it is recommended to install protective pads on furniture feet. If there is slight fading in some areas due to sunlight, uniform use can be achieved by adjusting the placement of the carpet. After cleaning, it is necessary to promptly dry the accumulated water to prevent the edges from expanding due to long-term moisture.

Long term maintenance and usage precautions

Regularly inspect the floor joints and edges for looseness, and promptly fix any raised edges with specialized adhesive. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, and it is recommended to use blackout curtains near balcony windows. Maintain ventilation indoors to prevent moisture accumulation from affecting stability. Heavy furniture must be equipped with protective pads under the legs, and should not be dragged when lifted during movement. Deep maintenance can be carried out once a year. After wiping with wood plastic special cleaning agent, it can be naturally air dried to restore its luster. It is strictly prohibited to use strong acid and alkali cleaning agents, and it is forbidden to use hard objects such as steel wire balls to scratch the surface. If there is local wear, it can be repaired with the repair paste provided by the manufacturer. Please note that the indoor temperature difference should not be too large, and the underfloor heating environment should ensure that the surface temperature does not exceed 45 ℃.
